World renowned juggler Jay Gilligan will be back to perform at Hillsdale College, Sunday, March 9, at 7 p.m. Last year, more than 100 people attended Gilligan’s performance in the Black Box Theatre – literally standing room only.
This year, Phillips Auditorium will allow for 300 people to see Gilligan’s creative and original juggling art. He’s been playing in Germany six days per week in recent months, but he’s back in the states and in Hillsdale for one night.
Marked by improvisation and musical choreography, Gilligan presents juggling skills which range from technically awe-inspiring, to aesthetically focused, to playful and childish.
Gilligan has been invited by the Hillsdale College Juggling Club and the students of Juggling PED393 (the college’s first ever for-credit juggling class).
